Challenge-driven campus hiring
Stop reading resumes. Start reading their work.
Give us a real problem from your team. We turn it into a challenge across our partner campuses, students compete, and only the strongest verified work reaches you — with the students behind it ready to interview.

You pay when
You hire
Why campus hiring keeps disappointing
You hire on marks and aptitude. Then you find out who can actually build.
A challenge built from your own backlog answers that question before the offer letter, not six months after it.
Screening
Marks are not a skill signal
CGPA cut-offs and aptitude tests rank students on everything except the work. The best builder in the batch is often filtered out before anyone sees the code.
Effort
Drives eat your engineers
Travel, piles of resumes, and days of interview panels for a handful of offers. Your senior engineers lose a week per campus.
Outcome
Offers drop, ramp-up drags
Freshers accept several offers and disappear, and the ones who join need months before they contribute. You find out after you have paid for it.
The model
One requirement in. Verified talent out.
We run the whole drive end to end. Your team spends time only where it matters: approving the challenge, and meeting the finalists.
You share a real requirement
The role, the skills, the headcount and an actual problem from your backlog.
Your time: 30 minutes
We design the challenge
We turn it into a scoped, fair challenge with a scoring rubric — and your team signs off before launch.
Your time: one review
Campuses compete
Eligible students across our partner colleges register and build, with mentors and checkpoints through the window.
Run by ISDIC
We verify the work
Rubric scoring, plagiarism and AI checks, a live viva for every finalist, and document verification.
Run by ISDIC
The strongest work reaches you
A ranked shortlist with submissions, scorecards and viva notes. You interview and make offers.
Your time: interviews
What lands on your desk
Not a resume pile. A ranked body of work.
Every finalist reaches you with proof: what they built for your problem, how it scored against the rubric your team approved, and a verified profile.
Ranked shortlist
Finalists ordered by rubric score, not by college tier or CGPA.
The actual submission
Repo, demo and documentation for the problem you set.
Scorecard per candidate
Score by each criterion your team approved, with reviewer notes.
Recorded viva
The candidate explaining and defending their own work.
Verified profile
Identity, education and eligibility checked before shortlisting.
Drive report
Reach, participation and funnel data across every campus.
One challenge, three outcomes
Hire them, intern them, or both.
Full-time fresher hiring
Fill entry-level engineering, security, data and operations roles with students who have already built something close to the work you will hand them on day one.
- Challenge built from your real backlog
- Ranked finalists with scored submissions
- Your interview rounds, our coordination
- Offer and joining support until day one
Best for
Batch hiring for entry-level roles where ramp-up time is the real cost.
- You pay
- Success hiring fee
- Typical drive
- Typically a few weeks
- Replacement
- Window agreed per drive
Internships that can convert
Take on interns who earned the seat by solving your problem, then decide on pre-placement offers with evidence from the challenge and the internship both.
- A challenge scoped for intern-level work
- Internship offers to the top finalists
- Convert to a PPO on your own terms
- Off-season challenges to start early
Best for
Building a pipeline before placement season, and testing fit before a full-time offer.
- You pay
- Success fee per intern
- PPO conversion
- Fee agreed per drive
- Typical drive
- Typically a few weeks
One challenge, two tracks
Run a single challenge and split the finalists: the top of the leaderboard for full-time roles, the next group for internships with a path to a PPO.
- One brief and one rubric for both tracks
- Finalists split at a cut-off you set
- Interviews for both tracks coordinated together
- A single drive report
Best for
Teams that hire freshers every year and want this season’s interns to become next season’s hires.
- You pay
- Success fee per hire or intern
- Typical drive
- Typically a few weeks
- Replacement
- Window agreed per drive
How we compare
A drive, a test platform, and a hackathon — in one.
| What matters | ISDIC campus challenge | Traditional campus drive | Online test platforms | Job portals |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What you evaluate | Working solutions to your own problem | Resumes, aptitude, CGPA cut-offs | Timed coding puzzles | Self-written resumes |
| Reach | Many campuses in one challenge | One campus at a time | Whoever you invite | Anyone who applies |
| Your team's effort | Approve the brief, meet finalists | Travel, panels, days on site | Set tests, screen results | Screen hundreds of profiles |
| Who runs it | ISDIC, end to end | Your HR and TPO coordination | Your team | Your team |
| Employer branding | The whole batch engages with your brand | Limited to the day of the drive | None | None |
| Fraud and AI misuse | Plagiarism checks and a live viva | Hard to detect | Proctoring only | Unverified |
| What you pay | Only after you hire | Logistics and team time, regardless | Per-test licence fees | Posting or subscription fees |
Employer brand on campus
Every challenge puts your name in front of the whole batch.
You hire a handful. Many more students spend the challenge window solving your problem, reading your brief and hearing from your engineers — and remember who set it when the next season opens.
Your problem, their two weeks
Students spend the challenge window inside your product context.
Your engineers as judges
Mentor sessions and judging panels put your team in front of the batch.
Tech talks and CTFs
Run sessions and security challenges on partner campuses under your name.
Leaderboard visibility
Your challenge and logo stay live across campus channels for the full window.
Winner announcements
Results and student stories shared across the ISDIC community.
Next season's pipeline
Participants who did not make it this time know your name next time.

You pay only when you hire.
No platform fee, no per-drive fee, no charge for the challenge design or the campus mobilisation. If nobody clears your bar, you owe us nothing.
Full-time hire
Success fee, agreed per drive
A flat success hiring fee, invoiced only after the candidate joins, with a replacement window agreed per drive.

Questions hiring teams ask
Before your first challenge.
Who designs the challenge — you or us?
We draft it from the requirement you send, then your engineering lead reviews and signs off on the brief and the scoring rubric before anything goes live on campus. It stays your problem statement, written so students can attempt it in the time available.
How do you stop copying and AI-generated submissions?
Submissions go through plagiarism and AI-assistance checks, and every finalist defends their work in a live viva with screen share and follow-up questions. A submission nobody can explain does not reach your shortlist.
What if nobody meets our bar?
Then you hire nobody and pay nothing. We will either re-run the challenge across more campuses or rework the brief with your team, at no cost to you.
Do we still run our own interviews?
Yes. The challenge replaces resume screening and aptitude rounds, not your judgement. Usually that means going straight from our shortlist to a technical round and a culture round.
Which roles and branches does this work for?
Anything where work can be shown: software, cybersecurity, data and AI, cloud, QA, design, and non-engineering roles such as marketing, finance and operations. Challenges are set per role, so non-CS branches compete on their own tracks.
Does this only work during placement season?
No. Placement-season drives follow each campus calendar, and off-season challenges can run at any time — often how companies hire interns and build a pipeline before the season starts.
